As announced in spring 2021 as part of MIT’s Climate Action Plan for the Decade, MITEI’s Low-Carbon Energy Centers, including the Energy Storage Center, have been integrated into MITEI’s new Future Energy Systems Center. Existing projects and memberships will continue under the previous centers during this transition period, while new projects and memberships will be part of the Future Energy Systems Center.
