Naga Srujana Goteti holds a PhD in Sustainability from the Rochester Institute of Technology, MS in Energy from the Asian Institute of Technology, and B-Tech in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Jawaharlal Nehru Technological University. Most of her research is in electricity system policies, energy storage, and grid modeling. Her PhD dissertation was on modeling the grid infrastructure dynamics under uncertainties and the operational effects of energy storage on the grid in the U.S. Before her PhD, she worked in various positions in energy consulting, oil and gas, and IT industries in Thailand and India. Her research at MITEI is implementing techno-economic assessment and econometric principles on electricity systems to understand the effects of spatial disparity on various grid outcomes and policies.
