Solid-state batteries still face hurdles but the prize is huge for EVs

MIT Professor Emeritus Donald Sadoway discussed the development of solid-state batteries and the future of electric vehicles: “In 2035 the U.S. the automobile market will be roughly the same as today, but by then the massive demand for electricity from computers, AI, and EVs will combine to demand more electricity than the grid can supply."
